Back again!

Hello everyone!

I am back after a rather long hiatus. When my book, “Behind Thee Eyes: One Agoraphobic’s Journey To A Meaningful Life” was published at the end of last year I went right into my busy holiday retail season. I developed some kind of a problem with my ankle (which they think is either tarsal tunnel or some kind of tendonitis) which kept me pretty “off balance” ….no pun intended! lol  Once that season was over I really needed a long rest from work or any kind so focused on getting things done around the house as much as I could with this bad ankle. As of this writing it is still troublesome, but somewhat better…thank goodness. Besides getting caught up around the house I also decided to bite the bullet and look into a visiting physician’s service in my area to get my general health looked at as well as my ankle. Since I have not really had any kind of medical services for the better part of 20 years this was a real challenge. I eventually made that first call and started the ball rolling into a very interesting series of events (to say the least). I am actually thinking of writing a second book which will chronicle some of these events. I thought it might be helpful to some agoraphobics as well as family and friends of agoraphobics to see on a daily basis how life can be for someone challenges with this disorder. I am having a bit of problem typing since I have also injured one of my fingers so each entry will be relatively short. It’s HECK to get older! lol  At any rate, it’s good to be back and I will catch you all up to speed in the days and weeks ahead. I hope all is well with everyone!
